Norwegian Forestry Group (NFG) is a network company with experience from all aspects of Norwegian forestry both in the public and in private sector. In addition, the group has extensive experience from Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

The Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa and the Norwegian Forestry Group (NFG) on 22 November 2017 has signed a grant agreement for the implementation of the Forest Landscape Restoration Program in the Amhara regional state of Ethiopia.

The Government of Norway has committed NOK 51 million (6.mill USD) for supporting the implementation of the Forest Landscape Restoration Program until 2020.

NFG will implement the program in close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change of Ethiopia, authorities of the Amhara regional state and other local and international partners. Local partners are Amhara Forest Enterprise (AFE) and Amhara Rehabilitation and Development Organization (ORDA). Amhara Forest Enterprise has made an agreement with Norwegian Forestry Group /NFG/ to implement Forest Landscape Restoration Program (FLRP) in Amhara.
